Hotel Front Desk Supervisor Full-time Year-round

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Hotel Front Desk Supervisor to lead our front desk team and provide exceptional service to our guests. This full-time, year-round position is ideal for an organized individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering outstanding hospitality experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operations of the front desk, ensuring efficient and friendly service
• Train, mentor, and assist front desk staff, fostering a positive and team-oriented work environment
• Cook up guest check-ins and check-outs, handling any special requests or issues promptly and professionally
• Maintain accurate records and reports related to room occupancy, reservations, and financial transactions
• Collaborate with hotel management to implement and enforce policies and procedures that enhance the guest experience
• Ensure that the front desk area is tidy, organized, and fully equipped with necessary supplies and promotional materials
• Participate in hiring and performance evaluation processes for front desk staff

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a front desk agent or in a similar supervisory role within the hospitality industry
• Exceptional customer service skills with a warm and welcoming demeanor
• Strong leadership abilities and the capability to manage and motivate a diverse team
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in hotel management software and computer applications
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as necessary
