Hotel Front Desk Representative (3pm-11pm)

Afternoon shift: 3 pm – 11 pm, 32 hours per week.

About the hotel

The Sleep Inn Ellenboro, located at 29 South Main Street, Ellenboro, WV.

Responsibilities

• Attend to the needs of guests, especially during check-in and check-out processes.
• Wear the required uniform, including name tag, earpiece, and radio.
• Greet all guests.
• Provide information to guests about hotel policies, services, and amenities.
• Respond to guest requests, sell rooms to walk-in guests, enter/change reservations in the PMS system, post charges to guest accounts, process payments, make necessary changes to guest accounts, and inform housekeeping about room changes.
• Listen and respond to guest complaints.
• Operate the phone system and answer calls.
• Clean the front desk and surrounding areas.
• Complete shift checklists and maintain daily logs.
• Balance the cash drawer.
• Stand for an 8-hour shift.

Additional Responsibilities

• Maintain an attitude conducive to team growth, hospitality, and a serving environment.
• Participate in further hospitality training and education.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor or general manager.
