Responsibilities
- Conduct daily paperwork and shift reports
- Attend to guest needs during check-in/check-out, make reservations, and answer guest questions
- Proactively think about guest security and maintain a safe, clean, and friendly work environment
- Count cash, maintain cash drawer accuracy, and check the front desk log for problems and special requests
- Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests
- Process guest registrations, collect payment, and maintain room status inventory
- Communicate shift information to Front Office Manager, General Manager, and other desk staff
- Maintain and clean the lobby and bathroom as needed
- Ensure a smooth shift transition and communicate pertinent information to the next shift
- Work closely with all hotel departments to provide high-quality customer service
- Answer inquiries about hotel services, registration, and provide information on in-room and hotel features
- Complete required shift paperwork and night audit reports daily
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
