Responsibilities
- Manage room bookings in-person, online, and through incoming calls
- Answer inquiries about guests' needs, including questions about available rooms, amenities, room rates, special requests, and rewards programs
- Work with the housekeeping staff to ensure rooms are ready for new guests
- Welcome, register, check-in, and check out guests staying at the hotel, provide keys and room numbers, and record credit card information
- Ensure all hotel guest account information is accurate and up-to-date
- Mitigate customer complaints as needed
Qualifications
- Flexible schedule and availability mornings, evenings, and weekends
- High school graduate, GED recipient, or equivalent
- At least one year of hospitality industry experience as a hotel front desk agent or similar position preferred
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems
- Strong customer service skills, interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and time management skills
- Well-versed in taking telephone calls and handling stressful situations
