About the Role
The full-time Hot Shot Puller is a warehouse associate position responsible for accurately and promptly pulling outgoing and staging orders (fill-in and will-call). This role acts as a material handler, inventory associate, and forklift operator.
Responsibilities
- Pull outgoing orders
- Process and restock returns
- Load and unload freight such as lumber and/or building supplies
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized lumber yard
- Care for and maintain equipment
- Shrink control
- Forklift training, certification, and operation
- Communicate delays or discrepancies to management
- Keep management aware of any delays or issues
Requirements
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information one-on-one
- Ability to periodically lift up to 80 pounds
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
