About the role

Four Seasons is currently looking for a Host/ess at Quattro Restaurant & Bar, located in the heart of Silicon Valley. This role is essential in delivering the highest standards of luxury and personalized service that Four Seasons is known for.

Responsibilities

• Offer a warm and engaging welcome to guests at Quattro Restaurant & Bar.
• Seat guests promptly at tables pre-set for their party, according to guest preferences.
• Maintain the host/hostess stand, review the guest reservation book, and make recommendations for room set-up.
• Keep a station chart and cover count for the restaurant, ensuring optimal workload distribution among servers to meet Four Seasons service standards.
• Answer telephones according to Four Seasons standards, take reservations, and provide information about the restaurant or other hotel services.
• Anticipate guest needs, respond to inquiries or problems, and recognize regular guests by name.
• Inspect and maintain daily menus to ensure quality, condition, and appearance, while developing a complete working knowledge of all menu items and daily specials.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Requirements

• Flexible schedule, including availability to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, and evenings.
• Adherence to grooming guidelines and professional presentation at all times.
• Previous experience in a fast-paced luxury environment preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, push, lift up to 30 pounds, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
