ERDT/SHARE! is a global non-profit educational foundation established in 1974. It provides international student exchange services to host families and international teens. SHARE! students, aged 15-18 from various countries such as France, Germany, Spain, China, Brazil, Poland, Italy, Mexico, Japan, and South Korea, are seeking host families.

Responsibilities

  • Attend the local high school with the exchange student
  • Provide a safe and welcoming environment for the exchange student
  • Help the exchange student adjust to life in the new country
  • Ensure the exchange student has access to medical care and insurance
  • Share cultural experiences with the exchange student

Requirements

  • Adults or families willing to host an exchange student for a school year or semester
  • Willingness to provide a home and support for the exchange student
  • Availability during the school year or semester
  • Basic understanding of the language spoken by the exchange student
