Host an International High School Exchange Student (St. Charles, M0)

ERDT/SHARE! is a global non-profit educational foundation established in 1974. We provide international student exchange services to host families and international teens. SHARE! students, aged 15-18 from countries such as France, Germany, Spain, China, Brazil, Poland, Italy, Mexico, Japan, and South Korea, are seeking host families or adults to welcome them.

Responsibilities

• Attend your local high school with the SHARE! student
• Provide a safe and welcoming environment for the SHARE! student
• Help the SHARE! student adjust to life in your community
• Ensure the SHARE! student has access to medical care and insurance
• Support the SHARE! student with personal expenses

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Willingness to commit to hosting the SHARE! student for a school year or semester
• Ability to provide a stable living situation with a private bedroom
• Availability during school hours and weekends
• Knowledge of basic English
