About the role

SHARE! Your Heart & Home with a high school exchange student. Host families and adults are needed to host exchange students for a school year or semester.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and welcoming home environment for an international student.
• Attend orientation sessions with the student and host family coordinator.
• Ensure the student has access to necessary resources and support.
• Encourage cultural exchange and integration through activities and conversations.
• Support the student in adapting to a new culture and school environment.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Have a stable home environment.
• Be able to communicate effectively in English.
• Willingness to provide a positive and inclusive living environment.
• Availability to host the student for a full school year or semester.
