Host an International High School Exchange Student (Blue Spring, M0)

About the role

SHARE! Your Heart & Home with a high school exchange student. Host families and adults are needed to host exchange students for a school year or semester.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and welcoming home environment for an international student
• Attend orientation sessions with the student
• Support the student in adjusting to a new culture and learning English
• Ensure the student has access to healthcare and emergency services
• Participate in regular check-ins with the student and SHARE!

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Willingness to live with a student for a minimum of one academic year
• Ability to provide a stable living environment
• Knowledge of basic English
• Availability to participate in orientation sessions and regular check-ins
