Hospitality Sales Account Manager - North America

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic approach to priority hospitality markets, with an emphasis on luxury, resort, and large-scale ("giga") developments.
  • Identify and prioritize high-value hotel brands, developers, and projects based on influence, scale, and timing.
  • Track major hospitality developments to ensure early inclusion in the design process and maximize specification opportunities.
  • Build senior-level relationships with global and regional hotel brand design and technical teams.
  • Support integration of Lutron solutions into brand standards, design guidelines, and long-term development strategies.
  • Partner with internal regional teams to ensure coordinated engagement and successful project conversion.
  • Drive preferred partner and standardization opportunities across guest rooms, residences, and public spaces.
  • Establish and maintain trusted relationships with leading hospitality developers, architects, lighting designers, and MEP consultants.
  • Position Lutron as a basis-of-design solution through consultative engagement and tailored technical support.
  • Ensure appropriate Lutron resources are engaged to support design intent and secure specifications.
  • Represent Lutron at major hospitality conferences, forums, and industry events.
  • Build strategic relationships with complementary ecosystem partners and technology integrators.
  • Collaborate cross-regionally to strengthen Lutron’s presence and influence within the global hospitality community.
  • Act as a senior hospitality leader within Lutron, influencing strategy, pipeline development, and long-term growth.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, engineering, marketing, and product teams to deliver a seamless client experience.
  • Capture and share market and customer insights to inform product development and hospitality-specific strategies.
  • Maintain accurate project and account data within Salesforce CRM.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of proven experience in sales, technology, or the design construction field.
  • Proven consultative sales skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally to drive initiatives to completion.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, particularly Salesforce, is a plus.
  • Ability to travel 35%-50%, as required.
  • Personal vehicle and Driver's License required.
