Responsibilities

  • Business Development & Sales Growth
    • Drive revenue growth by identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities.
    • Expand relationships within existing accounts to uncover additional sales opportunities.
    • Meet and exceed individual sales goals and performance targets.
    • Build and maintain a strong pipeline through prospecting, networking, referrals, and lead generation activities.
    • Conduct customer meetings, presentations, product demonstrations, and solution discussions.
  • Relationship Management
    • Establish trusted relationships with customers, stakeholders, and decision-makers across assigned territories.
    • Serve as a strategic partner by understanding customer needs and recommending value-driven solutions.
    • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by responding promptly and effectively to inquiries and concerns.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences and successful implementations.
  • Market & Industry Engagement
    • Stay informed about market trends, customer needs, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
    • Develop relationships with industry partners and vendors to strengthen market awareness and referral opportunities.
    • Represent Embed at trade shows, networking events, and regional industry activities.
    • Provide customer and market insights to leadership to support business growth strategies.
  • Sales Operations
    • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, opportunities, and pipeline activity.
    • Prepare proposals, quotations, and sales presentations for prospective and existing customers.
    • Coordinate with multiple departments to ensure customer expectations and sales objectives are achieved.

Requirements

  • 1-4 years of experience in sales, account management, business development, or a related customer-facing role.
  • Proven ability to build relationships, identify opportunities, and drive revenue growth.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage priorities and work independently.
  • Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) to manage customer relationships and sales activity.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience in technology, software, SaaS, hospitality technology, POS systems, or solution-based sales.
  • Understanding of consultative or solution-selling methodologies.
  • Ability to comfortably discuss technical concepts with customers and stakeholders.

Travel Requirements

Travel within assigned territories to build customer relationships, attend industry events, conduct market research, and grow business opportunities. Approximately one week of travel per month, with flexibility based on business needs.
