This internship is designed to develop your skills and competencies to thrive in the fast-paced world of hospitality and contract food service. You’ll work closely with leadership within your sector and account, gaining exposure to operations, marketing, guest services, sales and catering, problem-solving, innovation, and client relationship management. What You’ll Learn & Do: Contribute to delivering exceptional guest experiences and client relationsProvide operational support across front-of-house, back-of-house, catering, marketing, and administrative functionsSupport the execution of operational standards and contractual commitmentsAssist with financial activities, including profit & loss and loss preventionHelp ensure safety, quality assurance, and compliance with food safety standardsParticipate in associate learning and development initiativesGain experience in people management, including scheduling and time managementAssist with inventory management and loss prevention Learning Objectives: Develop awareness, understanding, and skills to succeed in diverse hospitality environmentsGain practical experience through observation and active participation in multiple hospitality functions Minimum Qualifications: Genuine interest in the hospitality and service industryExperience, knowledge, or studies related to hospitality (preferred but not required)Strong interpersonal and communication skillsPositive attitude and eagerness to learnAbility to build and maintain professional relationships Preferred Interests: Sustainability and environmental impact (e.g., carbon “foodprint,” farm-to-fork practices)Quality assurance and food safetyContract food service management This internship offers a unique opportunity to develop foundational hospitality skills while working in a variety of operational settings, setting you up for a successful career in the field.
