Hospitality Associate - Food and Nutrition (Evenings)

About the role

The Hospitality Associate acts as the liaison between patients, Food and Nutrition Services, and Nursing Services and attends to all patient requests for meals, nourishments and snacks.

Responsibilities

• Obtains patient meal orders
• Accurately modifies menus as needed
• Communicates effectively with patient services manager, nursing, dietitian and production staff as necessary
• Cleans and sanitizes meal service areas

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• No prior work experience required
• Accepts 2 years of relevant experience in lieu of a high school diploma or GED
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Basic computer skills
• Must complete Food Handler training within 6 months of hire
• Must complete food allergens essentials training within 6 months of hire
