Hospitalist - Physician

About the role

Seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for inpatient care in a well-established practice, working within a nonprofit health system as part of a supportive, collaborative team of physicians and advanced practice providers.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive care under physician supervision.
• Conduct health assessments, gather patient histories, and interpret diagnostic tests to develop evidence-based treatment plans.
• Manage acute and chronic health conditions; previous critical care experience is considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Board certification by NCCPA, AANPCM, or ANCC.
• Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration.
• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred.
• Active BLS certification required; Advanced Life Support preferred.
• Must obtain BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Pay

Competitive salary range of $125,500–$155,000 per year, plus CME allowance and malpractice coverage.

Schedule

Inpatient practice setting with a schedule of 7 pm–7 am, no call requirement.
