About the role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated advanced practice provider to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network. Join an established team of 52 physicians and 4 APPs.

  • Schedule & Call: Experience predictable work-life balance with a dedicated Day Shift 7 on / 7 off schedule
  • Practice setting: inpatient
  • Access to seamless continuity: Maintain exceptional safety and quality standards through diligent documentation of healthcare delivery in the Sunrise Clinical Manager EMR system
  • Employed position within a nonprofit health system
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration

Responsibilities

  • Drive clinical excellence by obtaining comprehensive patient histories, performing diagnostic assessments, and managing treatment plans for complex adult conditions
  • Enhance patient outcomes and transitions of care by counseling and educating patients and their families/caregivers on preventative health, treatment pathways, and community resources

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted
  • One or more of the following required:
    • Physician Assistant credentialed from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
    • Physician Assistant credentialed from the Indiana Physician Assistant Committee obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
  • Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted
  • Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program. Master's degree preferred
  • 1 year of experience preferred
