Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner (Nocturnist)
About the Role
Deliver patient-centered care that makes a difference in Washington Court House, Ohio. A new 75,000 sq ft facility is currently under construction and will open in 2027.
Work alongside a well-established team of 4 physicians and 2 advanced practice providers (APPs) at Adena Fayette Medical Center, supported by a clinical performance nurse, a clinical performance associate, and a group coordinator. The team is diverse, with members from all over the world, and actively participates in hospital committees and leadership roles to support quality and process improvement initiatives.
Outside of work, the team shares interests in food, sports, and celebrating special events, coming together a few times each year for team-building social events.
Responsibilities
- Manage complex cases in an open ICU setting with intensivist collaboration, without the expectation of performing procedures or running codes.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including hospitalist APPs who independently manage pre-op patients in a clinic setting, supported by supervising physicians and staff.
- Participate in morning meetings two to three times per week to discuss practice updates.
- Attend monthly meetings with the regional team to review performance and address practice issues.
Qualifications
- Board-certified or board-eligible Nurse Practitioner.
- Inpatient experience required.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
Schedule
Typical scheduling model is a 7-days-on, 7-days-off rotation with 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM shifts. The team values work-life balance and covers for one another to ensure time off for family and outdoor activities.

Pay
$175,000 annual compensation with a bonus structure.
