Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical oversight and mentorship to hospitalists and other medical professionals within the department
• Develop and implement quality initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes, satisfaction, and operational efficiency
• Collaborate with hospital leadership in long-term planning, workforce development, and resource management
• Facilitate ongoing professional development, training, and performance evaluations of hospitalist staff
• Foster positive relationships with nursing, case management, and specialty service lines to promote interdisciplinary care

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board certified in internal medicine
• Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical leadership experience in hospital medicine
• Previous leadership or administrative experience in hospital medicine is preferred but not required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
