Job Location: 601 Elmwood Ave, Rochester, New York, United States, 14642
Full-time, regular position with 40 scheduled weekly hours on a rotating shift.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care for adult medical patients in collaboration with the Attending physician.
- Perform admission work-ups and daily management of all patients on the unit, including transfer and discharge.
- Focus on discharge planning and interdisciplinary rounding.
- Participate in the education of learners (students and new employees) through clinical learning experiences, knowledge sharing, and skill training.
Applicants must be motivated, flexible, independent, and possess excellent clinical skills.
Requirements
- 2 years’ experience preferred.
- New York State licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) and national certification.
Qualifications
Nurse Practitioner
- Master's degree as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Active New York State Registered Nurse license in good standing.
- Active New York State Nurse Practitioner licensure in good standing.
- Current national certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
Physician Assistant
- Completion of an ARC-PA approved Physician Assistant program.
- Active New York State Physician Assistant licensure in good standing.
- Current national certification as a Physician Assistant by NCCPA (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants).
Skills
- Clinical competence.

Pay
The compensation range for this job is $98,508.00 - $132,995.00 annually. Individual salaries will be determined based on factors including market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise, and internal equity considerations.
Schedule
- Day/night shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on unit needs.
