Hospital Medicine Associate Program Medical Director
About the role
We are seeking an experienced Lead Hospitalist/Associate Program Director to join our dynamic team in St. Louis, Missouri. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead a team of hospitalists while providing high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Serve as content expert in representing the hospitalist team at monthly meetings with operations and/or hospital leadership.
- Serve as medical director if the medical director is on PTO or unavailable.
- Serve as the team lead for day-to-day questions.
- Manage admissions, especially during morning hours, round on patients, and manage rapid responses for own patients.
- Open ICU with minimal expectation of our team - full critical care support.
- No procedures or code blue response required.
Qualifications
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Two years of hospitalist experience required.
- Leadership acumen evidenced by examples displayed in your current position.

Pay
The compensation package includes clinical shift pay, a leadership stipend, and incentive bonus opportunities. Productivity and quality incentives are offered in addition to the base salary. Commencement bonus and relocation assistance are also available.
Schedule
Scheduling Days: 7 am-7 pm - 7 on - 7 off.
