About the role

Trinity Health Grand Rapids is searching for candidates to join our Nutrition Services team as Food Service Workers, Cooks, Retail Candidates, Cafeteria Servers, and Food Runners. Positions are available full time and part time, with 1st and 2nd shift options. On-the-job training is provided.

Expectation to work every other weekend and rotating holidays.

Responsibilities

• Process room service orders
• Interact with patients and family members by taking orders via phone and inputting menu selections into the computer
• Gather, wash, and put away dry dishes
• Promote positive customer service relations between Nutrition Services and Nursing units, patients, families, and all other contacts
• Maintain knowledge of profession, safe food handling, and sanitation practices

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Guest service background preferred
