Hospital and Community Liaison

About the role

This position serves both Waddell Nursing and Rehab Center and Hillsville Health and Rehabilitation Center (222 Fulcher Street, Hillsville, VA 23464). The Hospital Liaison is primarily responsible for performing job duties related to the management or general business operations of the Communities, such as public relations, marketing, and revenue generation. In addition, the Liaison identifies, assesses, and manages customer referrals for assigned hospital account(s), ensures appropriate market penetration and a positive public image, works daily in assigned hospital accounts, regularly engages with the Communities supported, and maintains excellent customer service to achieve business objectives. Success is measured by referral volume, relationship development, census targets, and census trends.

Responsibilities

• Perform management/general business operations duties including public relations, marketing, and revenue generation for the Communities.
• Identify, assess, and manage customer referrals for assigned hospital account(s).
• Ensure appropriate market penetration and maintain a positive public image.
• Work daily in assigned hospital accounts and regularly engage with the Communities supported.
• Maintain excellent customer service to achieve Community business objectives.
