About the role
Seeking a Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) role focused on compassionate, home-based patient care.
Responsibilities
- Providing end-of-life care to patients with a focus on quality of life
- Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to implement care plans
- Performing patient assessments, vital checks, pain management, and medication administration
- Ensuring access to necessary medical equipment and supplies
- Educating families on prognosis, care changes, and hospice goals
- Adopting a holistic approach engaging the patient's physical, emotional, and spiritual needs
Qualifications And Skills
- Active, unrestricted RN license in the state of Michigan
- Minimum of one year of relevant RN experience
- Community health and Medical-Surgical experience preferred
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current insurance
