Hospice RN On-Call

About the Role

Provide home-based care to patients with a prognosis of six months or less, focusing on quality of life. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including physicians, LPNs, CNAs, HHAs, social workers, chaplains, and volunteers to implement care plans.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments, monitor vitals, evaluate breathing, manage pain, and administer medications and treatments
• Ensure accessibility of medical equipment, oxygen, medication, and supplies
• Educate families about prognosis, care plan changes, medications, and hospice goals
• Take a holistic approach to care addressing physical, emotional, and spiritual needs

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted RN license in the state of Michigan
• Minimum of one year of relevant RN experience
• Community health and Medical-Surgical experience preferred
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current insurance

Pay

Competitive weekly pay with RN salary between $72,000–$75,000.
