About the role
Join our Horizontal Directional Drilling Team as a skilled technician responsible for building and maintaining advanced PON/fiber networks.
Responsibilities
- Operating horizontal directional drills
- Supporting fiber splicing and repairs
- Installing underground and aerial fiber lines
- Operating construction equipment like trenchers and backhoes
- Climbing poles, ladders, and structures
- Restoring work sites
Qualifications
- At least 6 months of experience in utility construction, customer service, or related fields
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to obtain a Class A CDL
- Experience with horizontal directional drilling (preferred)
- Meet physical demands: lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing structures, working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Safety training required
- Background checks potentially required
