Home Health Speech Therapist - Part Time or PRN

About the Role

The Speech Therapist (ST) develops and implements individualized care plans, coordinates home therapy services, and ensures compliance with licensing standards. They work under supervision to deliver client-centered therapy, motivate patients, and collaborate with physicians and care teams.

Responsibilities

• Assess client needs and create tailored therapy programs
• Implement and modify therapy plans in coordination with clinical staff and physicians
• Document medical data accurately and ensure effective communication with caregivers and providers
• Educate clients, families, and caregivers to maintain or improve client functioning
• Address client and employee concerns, reviewing medical data to evaluate therapy effectiveness

Requirements

• Degree in Speech Therapy from an accredited program
• Current, unrestricted state license as a Speech Therapist
• Valid CPR certification and driver’s license

Skills

• Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
• Experience in home health therapy preferred
• Proficiency with documentation processes such as OASIS

Additional Information

The role involves traveling within specific territories and delivering high-quality, personalized home care services to improve patient outcomes.

Pay

Up to $85 per visit.

Schedule

PRN or part-time.
