Home Health RN Assistant Clinical Manager - Full Time

About the Role

The Assistant Clinical Manager – Home Health evaluates nursing activities to ensure quality patient care, staff support, and service efficiency. They act as a resource for clinical staff, facilitate teamwork, oversee the clinic's Quality Program, and maintain up-to-date procedural manuals and equipment. This role serves as a backup to the Clinical Manager and manages caseloads as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clinical records per policies and regulations
• Ensure compliance with federal and state licensing standards
• Participate in Performance Improvement activities, including record review and quality monitoring
• Coordinate orientation and training for new RN staff
• Provide ongoing education to clinical staff
• Supervise RN, LPN, and HHA field staff
• Manage a caseload, including admission and care planning

Requirements

• Active RN licensure in the applicable state
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Experience with Medicare skilled nursing and OASIS preferred
• Strong knowledge of home health nursing and documentation
• Similar home health managerial experience
• Familiarity with Homecare Homebase and clinical quality/documentation standards
