About the Role

This position is responsible for recruiting and/or sourcing candidates across a broad spectrum of roles at various levels within Optum. You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S., with some in-office requirements for Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area hires.
Responsibilities
- Conduct full life-cycle recruitment, including candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation and communication
- Develop sourcing strategies and candidate pipelines in partnership with leadership
- Share market research and trends in candidate flow and market reactions
- Interview and evaluate candidates using behavior-based interview and assessment techniques
- Demonstrate best practices, troubleshoot with team members, and serve as a mentor/coach on recruitment initiatives
- Champion diversity recruitment strategies and use sourcing techniques to reach diverse populations
- Consult with Hiring Managers to create competitive offers using tools, benefits, and compensation
- Debrief hiring managers and candidates throughout the recruitment process
- Develop and communicate action plans for aging requisitions
- Partner with Service Advisors to initiate offer pre-employment screening
- Actively participate in Talent Acquisition projects, including process improvement initiatives and diversity events
Qualifications
- 2+ years of Talent Acquisition experience in clinical recruiting
- Demonstrated proficiency in marketing/sourcing techniques, including lead generation and job boards (LinkedIn, Indeed, Monster, etc.)
Skills
- Knowledge of recruitment-related employment laws
- Ability to work remotely and adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy

Pay
The salary for this role ranges from $60,200 to $107,400 annually, based on full-time employment, and is influenced by factors such as local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications.
