Home Health Aide (HHA or CNA)
About the role
As a fast-growing, leading provider, Giving Home Health Care serves patients across Arizona, Colorado, Kentucky, Missouri, Nevada, New Mexico, Tennessee, Texas, and Utah. We are currently seeking a compassionate HHA or CNA in Alcalde, NM to provide in-home care.
Responsibilities
- Work with the patient in their home to provide one-on-one service in a comfortable and familiar setting
- Aid with the patients' activities of daily living and personal care
- Perform light housekeeping tasks
- Prepare meals according to the patient's needs
- Maintain a watch over the patient's vital signs (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc.) according to the care plan
- Remind the patient to take their medications as prescribed
- Keep detailed records and documentation of the services provided
- Communicate with the patient's family, doctors, and other relevant parties regarding the patient's health and care
Requirements
- Ability to monitor vital signs
- Dependable transportation
- Current CPR certification
