About the role

The Campus Life Ministry Site Director is responsible for spiritual and organizational leadership, working with and through other people, and strong communication skills. They are expected to embody YFC’s Cultural Attributes and implement relational ministry actions to develop Authentic Christ-Sharing Relationships with young people.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and Cultivate healthy access at 2-3 strategic campuses (5%): Serve school and nurture a positive working relationship, keep positive relationships with school leadership and support staff.

  • Direct Ministry with Students at 2-3 strategic campuses (40%): Weekly practice of the Campus Life relational ministry actions (RMAs): Contacting, Building Times, Appointments, Small Groups, Core, and Club, participation in strategic trips and events related to Campus Life.

  • Direct Ministry with Volunteers, mobilized at 2-3 strategic campuses (40%): Training, meetings, recruiting for direct ministry, community support, and prayer volunteers.

  • Fundraising & Administrative (10%): Nurturing personal support via your network, communication with donors, participation in WMYFC’s “See the Story” and “Be the Story” process, preparation for meetings, events, clubs, etc., attendance at regular chapter meetings.

  • Personal Development (5%): Participate in annual Employee Performance Evaluation, trainings and individual investments (regular supervisory connection).

Spiritual Responsibilities

  • Seek God’s guidance and wisdom, through prayer and meditation, for the organization as a whole as well as for specific ministry initiatives.

  • Participate and lead regular times of prayer, devotion and worship as a regular aspect of your role within YFC.

  • Teach and preach from the Holy Bible at YFC staff meetings, conferences, camps and events.

  • Model empathy, humility and care for all people. Promote equity and inclusion in word and in the practice of faith expression.

Credentials Required & Preferred

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

  • Three years of ministry experience

Pay

Negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
