Position Summary

The Ministry Site Director is responsible for spiritual and organizational leadership, working with and through others, and communicating effectively. They are expected to embody YFC's Cultural Attributes and implement relational ministry actions.

About the Role

Essential Functions

  • Recruit, train, and maintain volunteer ministry leader team in accordance with the processes found in the Knowledge Base.

  • Create a strong connection between local churches and the ministry site.

  • Develop training materials and ministry site standards for ministry leaders.

  • Establish healthy 3 Story teams for each ministry site and provide necessary support and guidelines.

  • Ensure healthy and growing ministry at all sites and report progress and updates to YFC.

Spiritual Responsibilities

  • Seek God’s guidance and wisdom through prayer and meditation for the organization and specific ministry initiatives.

  • Participate and lead regular times of prayer, devotion, and worship as part of your role within YFC.

  • Teach and preach from the Holy Bible at YFC staff meetings, conferences, camps, and events.

  • Model empathy, humility, and care for all people, including promoting equity and inclusion.

Fundraising Responsibilities

  • Extend invitations to fund-raising events.

  • Recruit personal circle of influence/YFC donor contacts.

  • Send letters, handwritten notes, personal calls, and personally minister to donor contacts.
