Responsibilities

• Lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience.
• Provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain great Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.
• Plan for each shift, monitor performance, take corrective actions to meet McDonald’s standards, and ensure safety and security.
• Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift.
• Meet targets during shifts and assist in meeting Department goals.
• Ensure food safety, manage inventory, conduct daily maintenance and cleanliness, and train crew members.
• Manage quality food production and exceptional customer service.
• Ensure safety and security.
• Schedule staff and manage staffing levels.
• Train new employees.

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
• A positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• A flexible schedule and the passion to work in the McDonald’s environment.
• Must be 18 years or older to be eligible to be a manager in a corporate-owned restaurant.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a leadership role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of McDonald’s standards and procedures.
