Hilton Marietta Accounting Clerk (FT) - Hotel experience required, entry level accounting role

Process accounts payable

• Ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices
• Verify deposits from outlets and ensure all money is accounted for
• Count main safe at the beginning and end of the shift
• Supply money for department banks and tills and replenish accounting cage vault funds
• Reconcile petty cash, balancing for reimbursement
• Provide first line approval for payment requests
• Complete biweekly transmittal of payroll under the guidance of the Controller

Payroll Duties

• Enter daily reports
• Review and record missed punches
• Enter tips, gratuities, vacation, sick, retro and other payments owed to associates
• Compile daily tax exempt guest information
• Send information to Controller no later than the 7th of each month
