Position Details
The following Full-time Paraprofessional positions are available at Hillside Elementary School through employment with CCRES.
About the Role
Supports classroom teachers in providing a safe and inclusive learning environment for students with emotional support needs.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily classroom activities
- Provide behavioral support and intervention
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff
- Participate in professional development opportunities
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Credential of Competency for Special Education Paraeducators in Pennsylvania
- Passing score on the Praxis Core Academic Skills for Educators Test (reading, writing, and mathematics)
- Current First Aid/CPR certification
Qualifications
- Experience working with students with emotional support needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Knowledge of special education principles and practices
- Ability to manage behavior and provide support
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
