Higher Education Investigations Attorney
About the role
Bricker Graydon Wyatt is seeking an attorney with 2+ years’ experience to join its dynamic and fast-growing higher education practice. We are interested in attorneys with experience in civil rights and Title IX investigations, higher education compliance, disability law, employment law, and/or litigation. Prior experience working in higher education administration or providing legal counsel to educational institutions is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Support civil rights investigators and hearing officers
- Learn civil rights investigator and hearing officer roles
- Expand the firm's team
- Write effectively and enjoy teamwork
- Have a sensitive yet neutral approach to difficult cases
Requirements
Candidates should possess excellent academic credentials, high ethical standards, strong writing, analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Must also possess strong project management skills and be able to work with multiple attorneys on a variety of assignments.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and be licensed to practice law in at least one state. Experience in civil rights and Title IX investigations, higher education compliance, disability law, employment law, and/or litigation is preferred.

Bricker Graydon Wyatt is proud to offer a competitive total rewards package. The anticipated pay range for this role is $110,000–$125,000. The actual salary for this position will be determined based on several job-related factors, including background, experience and education, consistent with applicable law.

Schedule
This position is primarily remote, however flexibility to be on-site when needed is required.
