About the role
The firm seeks an associate to join its Students and Special Education Practice Group, supporting the education of students in California.
Responsibilities
- Litigation and/or administrative process experience, including handling discovery and preparing pleadings
- Experience in mediations, arbitrations, and/or trials
- Excellent analytical, writing, research, and communication skills
- Flexibility, initiative, and willingness to work on a broad variety of legal matters arising in representing public entities, including administrative hearings litigation
- Education law experience and/or public entity experience preferred
Requirements
- Minimum of three years of legal experience
- Admission to the California State Bar

Pay
The annual salary wage range the Firm reasonably expects to pay candidates for this position is $130,000 to $170,000. The final annual salary offered will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
