Education Law Attorney

About the role

The firm seeks an associate to join its Students and Special Education Practice Group, supporting the education of students in California.

Responsibilities

• Litigation and/or administrative process experience, including handling discovery and preparing pleadings
• Experience in mediations, arbitrations, and/or trials a plus
• Excellent analytical, writing, research, and communication skills
• Flexibility, initiative, and willingness to work on a broad variety of legal matters arising in representing public entities, including administrative hearings litigation
• Education law experience and/or public entity experience preferred

Requirements

• Qualified candidates must have a minimum of three years of legal experience
• Admission to the California State Bar is required

Pay

The annual salary range the Firm reasonably expects to pay candidates for this position is $135,000 to $175,000. The final annual salary offered will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

Schedule

The position is available on a hybrid schedule.
