About the Role
We are a business-driven boutique law firm for children that continues to be on track for growth. We are seeking an experienced associate in special education or school discipline to join our team and be a total superstar. The ideal candidate will work directly with the owner to support the team and help clients.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with the owner to support the team and help clients
- Take initiative on work that needs to be done
- Complete tasks with minimal hand-holding
- Manage a caseload
Requirements
- Experience in Children's law as it relates to special education or school discipline
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload
- Initial employment compensation based on experience with opportunities for increases
- Opportunity for bonus compensation for profitability
Qualifications
- Strong legal background in special education or school discipline
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to handle emotionally challenging cases
- Proficiency in relevant laws and regulations
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload
