Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the director and students to design and create costumes for all productions
- Design, sew, alter, and build costumes that fit our high school cast
- Work hands-on with kids (ages 14–18) during fittings, rehearsals, and build sessions
- Help manage and organize our costume storage room – keep inventory sorted and clean, while maintaining our significant collection
- Run dress rehearsals and all performance weekends (tech/dress weeks + Friday/Saturday shows)
- Ensure costumes are ready, safe, and stage-ready for every show
- Participate in scheduled strike and reset following each show
Requirements
- Experience with sewing, costume construction, and design (professional or community theater experience is a plus)
- Comfortable working with high school students and a fun, positive attitude
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Able to work flexible hours during production weeks (evenings and weekends)
- Reliable transportation and a love for theater!
