Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience in one of the following specializations while working alongside full-time employees who provide guidance and training:
• Carpentry – fabricating concrete forms and other items in the form shop
• Welding – repairing heavy equipment and fabricating pieces for heavy highway, bridge, and structural construction
• Auto/Equipment Mechanics – maintaining and repairing company vehicles and specialized construction equipment
• Mid-sized equipment/Electrical – repainting generators, pumps, and similar small construction equipment
• Supply Department – providing tools, supplies, and resources to field operations
• Yard – pulling, organizing, and filling orders for shipment to projects

You will be assigned specific project responsibilities, enabling you to experience applicable processes and management methods firsthand. Supervisors and project staff will structure your work to help you learn while you contribute directly to project completion.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a relevant construction, engineering, or trades program
• Desire to build practical skills in a real-world construction environment
