Hematologist/Oncologist - Locum Coverage

Seeking a board-certified Hematologist/Oncologist to provide comprehensive outpatient cancer care in a clinic-based setting. Responsibilities include managing 15-20 adult patients daily, conducting thorough evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans for hematologic and oncologic conditions, and coordinating care with a team of top oncologists, nurse practitioners, and support staff. The role involves utilizing the Mosaiq EMR system for documentation and treatment planning, with occasional hospital rounding at affiliated facilities. Key duties encompass outpatient treatments, general hematology and oncology care, and minimal call coverage. The clinician will work with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, administrative staff, and phone triage personnel, ensuring optimal patient outcomes. Qualifications include board certification in Hematology/Oncology and prescriptive authority. The position is on-site, offering a supportive environment with a diverse adult patient population.
