Hematologist/Oncologist - Locum Coverage

About the Role

A clinic-based locum position for a Board-Certified Medical Oncologist and Hematologist. You will provide comprehensive adult hematology and oncology care, evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, and coordinate ongoing care with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive adult hematology and oncology care
• Evaluate patients and develop treatment plans
• Coordinate ongoing care with medical oncologists, nurse practitioners, medical assistants, and registered nurses
• Manage general hematology and oncology cases for adult patients
• Document encounters through electronic medical records

Schedule

• Day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Approximately 20 patients daily
• No call duties

Requirements

• Active California medical license
• Prescriptive authority
• Board certification in Medical Oncology and Hematology

Work Environment

• On-site facility with dedicated support staff
• Modern equipment and established protocols for hematology and oncology treatments
