Hematologist/Oncologist - Locum Coverage

About the role

This role involves providing comprehensive hematology and oncology care in a clinic setting, primarily managing adult patients with general treatments. The clinician will evaluate patients, develop personalized treatment plans, and coordinate ongoing care with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop personalized treatment plans
• Maintain accurate documentation through electronic medical records
• Exercise prescriptive authority
• Coordinate ongoing care with medical oncologists, nurse practitioners, medical assistants, and nurses
• Collaborate with a support team to handle general oncology and hematology treatments

Requirements

• Board certification in Medical Oncology and Hematology
• Active California medical license

Schedule

• Daytime hours, Monday to Friday
• No call duties
• Approximately 20 patients daily

The role is on-site in a facility equipped with modern technology and offers support services such as credentialing, job matching, and dedicated assistance at no cost to the clinician.
