About the role
Seeking a Board-Certified Medical Oncologist (MD) for outpatient hematology and oncology care in a clinic setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient medical oncology and hematology services, managing 6-8 adult patients daily.
- Handle up to 4 new consults weekly, documenting all activities via the Epic EMR system.
- Operate as a solo practitioner supported by one Nurse Practitioner, with no scheduled call duties.
Schedule
- Work Monday through Thursday, with administrative tasks on Friday afternoons.
Requirements
- Board certification in hematology/oncology required.
- Prescriptive authority essential.
- Experience managing adult patient populations in outpatient settings.
Additional Details
- Support staff includes one Nurse Practitioner.
- Position is on-site, with no government affiliation.
- Focus on medical oncology, with hematology cases also accepted.
