Hematologist/Oncologist - Locum Coverage

This role is for a hematologist/oncologist providing comprehensive care in inpatient and outpatient settings, managing 15-22 adult patients daily, including follow-ups and new consultations. Responsibilities include conducting thorough patient evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans for hematologic and oncologic conditions, and hospital rounding with midlevel clinician support during admissions. The position requires board certification or eligibility in Hematology/Oncology, with mandatory ACLS and BLS certifications. The clinician will work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with call coverage during day and night shifts, documenting all activities via EPIC EMR. Support staff includes midlevel clinicians assisting with hospital rounds. The patient population is adult, with a focus on hematology more than oncology, and involves comprehensive treatment delivery in a collaborative environment. Key duties include patient management, treatment planning, hospital rounding, and ensuring quality care across inpatient and outpatient settings.
