Hematologist/Oncologist - Locum Coverage

About the Role

We are seeking a licensed and board-certified Hematologist/Oncologist (MD) to provide clinic coverage in a cancer center specializing in hematology and oncology services. This role focuses on managing up to 16 adult patients daily in a benign hematology clinic, delivering high-quality patient care in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient care for adult patients in a benign hematology clinic.
• Manage up to 16 patients per day with a focus on efficient and compassionate patient management.
• Work on-site during weekday hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, advanced practice providers, medical assistants, and nurses.
• Handle benign hematology cases in a supportive clinical environment.

Requirements

• Active New York state medical license.
• Prescriptive authority.
• Board certification in Medical Oncology.

Schedule

Weekdays, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (no call responsibilities).
