Hematologist/Oncologist - Locum Coverage
About the role
A board-certified Hematologist/Oncologist is sought to provide outpatient care in a clinic-based setting. The role involves managing 15-20 adult patients daily, conducting thorough evaluations, and developing individualized treatment plans for hematologic and oncologic conditions.
You will coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team of top oncologists, nurse practitioners, and support staff, utilizing the Mosaiq EMR system for documentation and treatment planning. The primary focus is on outpatient treatments, with occasional hospital rounding.
Responsibilities
- Manage 15-20 adult patients daily in an outpatient clinic setting
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for hematologic and oncologic conditions
- Coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team of oncologists, nurse practitioners, and support staff
- Utilize Mosaiq EMR system for documentation and treatment planning
- Perform outpatient treatments with occasional hospital rounding
Requirements
- Board certification in Hematology/Oncology
- Prescriptive authority
- Hospital privileges at multiple facilities
- Minimal call coverage
Schedule
Approximately 40 hours per week, collaborating with experienced nursing and administrative staff.
