One Step Forward is growing our ABA team and is seeking an ABA Therapist / Behavior Technician to provide one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children in Oak Ridge and surrounding communities.
About the Role
- Part-time, after-school position with consistent weekday afternoon and early evening opportunities

Pay
$22–$32 per hour based on experience
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one in-home ABA therapy
- Implement individualized treatment programs developed by a BCBA
- Teach communication, social, play, adaptive, and daily living skills
- Implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs
- Use evidence-based ABA strategies including reinforcement, prompting, and behavior intervention techniques
- Collect accurate data to monitor client progress
- Complete electronic session documentation
- Communicate regularly with your supervising BCBA
Schedule
Consistent weekday afternoon and early evening availability. This is a part-time opportunity designed around after-school cases. Maintaining a consistent weekly schedule is important to build a strong relationship with your client and provide continuity of care.
Requirements
- Experience as an ABA Therapist, Behavior Technician, Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), Paraprofessional, Special Education Aide, or Behavioral Health Professional
- Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities (strongly preferred)
- Dependable, professional, and comfortable working one-on-one with children
- Committed to maintaining a consistent schedule
- Reliable transportation for this in-home position
