ABA Therapist After School Opportunities

One Step Forward is hiring an ABA Therapist / Behavior Technician for in‑home, part‑time cases in East Hanover and Cedar Knolls. The role involves one‑on‑one ABA therapy with children on the autism spectrum, using individualized programs supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Responsibilities

• Provide one‑on‑one in‑home ABA therapy.
• Help children build communication, social, play, adaptive, and daily‑living skills.
• Implement individualized skill‑acquisition programs.
• Follow behavior‑intervention and behavior‑reduction programs.
• Use evidence‑based ABA strategies, including reinforcement and prompting.
• Collect accurate session data to monitor progress.
• Complete electronic session documentation.
• Communicate regularly with your supervising BCBA.

Requirements

• Previous ABA experience (e.g., ABA Therapist, Behavior Technician, Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), paraprofessional, special‑education aide, or behavioral‑health professional).

• Dependable, professional, and comfortable working one‑on‑one with children.
• Commitment to maintaining a consistent weekly schedule.
• Reliable transportation for in‑home visits.
