After School With Purpose ABA Therapy

About the role

Join One Step Forward as an ABA Therapist / Behavior Technician and work one-on-one with children to help them build communication, social, behavioral, and everyday living skills. This is an in-home, part-time ABA position with weekday afternoon and early evening cases in Keansburg and surrounding Monmouth County communities.

You'll have the independence of working one-on-one with your client while still receiving guidance and support from an experienced BCBA and clinical team.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one in-home ABA therapy
• Build communication, social, play, adaptive, and daily living skills
• Implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs
• Follow individualized treatment goals and behavior plans
• Use ABA strategies such as reinforcement and prompting
• Collect session data to track progress
• Complete electronic session documentation
• Work closely with your supervising BCBA and communicate about client progress

Pay

$22–$32 per hour based on experience.

Schedule

Primarily weekday afternoon and early evening availability. This is a part-time position with consistent after-school cases. Ongoing weekly availability is important for continuity of care and building strong client relationships.

Requirements

• Dependable, professional, and comfortable working one-on-one with children
• Able to maintain a consistent schedule
• Reliable transportation (required for this in-home position)

Qualifications

Experience in one or more of the following roles is preferred:

• ABA Therapist
• Behavior Technician
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
• Paraprofessional
• Special education aide
• Behavioral health professional
